Legally they can't do anything about it :super: they only own the land, not the water or the fish in it. It is also not a listed marine reserve or park.
The guy we spoke to yesterday, had all these reasons we weren't allowed to fish in there but understands that none of them can really be enforced. Quite a nice guy really.

Some damn good fish in there also

Typical Australian over-policing - as you say, nothing they can do about it, they own the land, not the water, nor the fish - stuff them.

At least the security guy seemed half-human.

42cm - gotta be happy with that. Metals or Bait?

Wonder how they'd cope with a float tube. Nearly bought one years ago when they were all the rage.

Brett, Mt Martha Cove Marina? I believe the place is under receivership and until things are sorted out, they want it closed to non-residents.

I went to Gunnamatta today - ZERO for 2.5 hours of spinning. Lots of fishos but only 1 decent fish caught on bait.

Drove to Rye ocean beach and spent 30 min - zero

Went to Rye Pier and spent 30 min - zero

So where are they?
OF ALL THE THINGS I LOST, I MISS MY MIND THE MOST.

I know it's under new management, but not sure if it is actually in receivership or not.
If they want it closed to non-residents, they better spend a few dollars on a rather long fence, to fence it off :lolf:
From what I have been told it is the same as Blairgowrie pier.
