Went to Kilcunda on Monday, only managed two small ones. Went to carpark, just before the cemetery. Got there just before sunrise, the sea was flat, with very little swell. The sea mist would add a surreal feeling to the setting.
So it would be good to know how you guys go.
Best of luck.

Heading down to either Williamson's beach or maybe Venus bay on tuesday morning. Still undecided, might hit Venus Bay first and then come back to Williamson's.

Re: Kilcunda surf fishing this sunday
It was blowing an absolute gale, sand blasting everything. Travelled from Venus bay to Williamson's where lost a few rigs the the killer weed. Stopped off at Kilcunda, didn't even bother taking the rods out of the car. It was a mass of foam, and more than a few clumps of weed floating amongst it.Wolly Bugger wrote:Heading down to either Williamson's beach or maybe Venus bay on tuesday morning. Needed heavier gear than I had with me.
