Frankston Salmon

Went to olivers hill for a calamari fish ( see the report in the squid file ) then the wind picked up a bit to decided to go in a sheltered area and cleaned the fish when salmon started bustin up around us! chucked on a silver wobbler and got into them. total of 4 and released 5.

yeah, especially on light gear and watching them take the lure is almost as good as the fight

That means being on the pier, and you might be in with a chance to catch a salmon.

wolly bugger- yeah they where going in and out of the poles for 100 meters from the beach at one stage

and yeah it was a very fun and unexpected session
