Good Pictures , sounds like you had fun. Good old cheap silver wonder wobblers , can't beat them imo. These old lures many times have produced for me on days when no other lure would. The plain gold ones work great in freshwater also , the brown trout especially love them.

Thanks guys, yeah you can't beat the good old silver wobblers. great fun to see the fish chasing them right up to the boat!

Nice report and pics! Sight fishing is always exhilarating whether your in a stream, squid fishn or out on blue water! Looks like you had a lot of fun, well done!! Ive got a landbased spot down there which sometimes even kingys frequent as the water warms up a bit. I havent caught one yet but have seen them and a few spearos have taken a few.
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..

and guys if you haven't seen yet i have posted a repot of the hot calamari session before the salmon turned up! its named 'olivers hill calamari' and is in the squid section
