Salmon are off their head at frankston pier!

Salmon Were being caught left right and center at frankston pier today just before sunset, I Caught 2 35-36cm salmon and heaps of other people were catching around the same, peir was packed though so you might only want to go if you can cast straight, most other people cant

I caught my salmon on 40gram gillies baitfish in silver, so they seem to be the go.

I love catching salmon pound for pound great fighting fish light tackle , great bait and I love them smoked
