Poppers

Post by Handyandy180 » Sun Jan 29, 2012 12:07 pm

Hi all
I am hoping to tie my own poppers and wondered if anyone knows where i can buy blank Popper bodies and suitable hooks? I have done quite a bit of searching google and cannot find an Australian source. Any help would be more than welcome.
Regards Chris

I also tried it before when (surf) poppers were new and cost $2.50 each. I went to spotlight and bought the balsa wood parts and feathers. It cost me an arm and leg. I did not finish the project as I found it too hard to make even as a hobby. I bought some in eBay and I still havent caught a single fish on surf popper.

Surf poppers are cheap now.
OF ALL THE THINGS I LOST, I MISS MY MIND THE MOST.

Yeah to be honest, with the price you can buy poppers they really aren't worth the buggering about to make.
I bought a heap of em off tacklenut quite a while back & they are cheap as chips.
I'vre actually had good results using em & now wouldn't put a line in the water from a surf beach, chasing salmon without using one.

Bill.
