salmons hitting piers yet?

hey guys, around what time of the year do they start hitting the port melbourne piers? really busy atm so cant waste time going getting nothing.

Ive heard of reports at the mouth of patterson river, and mt martha rocks but thats it

I know markets have salmon all year round, give them a go, you never know!

Haha, if your mindset is that you cant waste time going if you arent guaranteed catching, just go to the local fishmonger. You're sort of missing the point of the sport.

Salmon started hitting the piers to some extent that mornington pier won't be finished due to new damage. They are also hitting process pier. Careful not to stand under a pylon being hit by a school. You might end up in the drink.

I went to the mouth of patto today and caught around 8, perfect bait size also.
