hot spot for salmon

Post by queen fish » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:41 am

Well I have finally found a great spot for salmon, the water is bubbling like you wouldnt believe, :r :reel: :r :reel: as quick as you got your fish off the hook you were on again I could not believe they were almost jumping out of the water :r :reel: no time to put them in to your bucket just leave them on the ground. my other fishing companions were beside themselves. We also landed some huge flatties I have not seen this big in years we did the right thing and let these breeders go we wanted some a bit smaller, if we all take the big ones then its all over red rover for the future generations as I want my kids to enjoy the experience of the big flatties. The salmon are hot at the moment I can tell you. :gone: This was all land fishing so you don't always need a boat, I saved on petrol for my boat for this fishing trip. :r :r :r

I'm guessing this is from a boat? I live in the area and would be keen to catch something decent from the pier (if at all possible)
