Inverloch Adventure

Post by Time Poor » Fri Aug 08, 2014 6:24 pm

I've bought a place at Inverloch and intend to spend the next year just bumming around there. So if you've any advice - species, time of year/day/tide, etc I'd much appreciate it. I'm thinking about doing a few trips up the Tarwin river, possibly even get the fly rod out?

Internet access down there is a bit flakey but I'll post a few reports.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I'm hoping to get a few more flathead and also EPs. But anything that come my way is a bonus.

Beautiful place TP. Spend quite a bit of time down that way, we might have to go for a wander someday.

beautiful place down that way mate my grandfather lives in Venus Bay. I'd suggest the beaches produce great fish and some big gummys at night too. also a nice little place near that way called mahers landing produce nice whiting :)

Yes Tr3los, I aim to get around to VB and Maher's Landing is only 5 mins from me.

I've three target fish on my list for the season - EP on the fly, Flathead on SPs. Squid on anything. I'm also hoping to have a crack at whiting, though not sure yet which would be the method that would give me the greatest chance?
