im keen to know more about using tuna oil in freshwater fishing, its not a natural source for them so how does it work?

Made some up once, hair rigs the whole shebang. Caught nothing, not that that means anything. But consider that our carp respond pretty well to simple baits of corn or bread so unless you are just curious or bored and want to try something different I don't see that it's worth the effort.

I was reading up on a study they had done in Melbourne on boillies vs corn and boillies had come up just in front. I was just wondering if other people have had luck with them. Here is the website www.ifs.tas.gov.au/publications/carp-baits-trial-1

That 7kg carp was a monster! And caught on corn..
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!
