Going to Eildon Pondage on Saturday to see if I can fish all day and not catch a trout this time!! Thanks for all the tips guys, I'm sure they'll bear fruit sooner or later!

It is pretty easy NOT to catch fish in the pondage, lost a real beauty there one night.

Be aware that there is no fishing for at least 50 metres downstream from the pondage wall, and it is strictly policed.

Sadly it use to be a real hot spot.

Stop off in Alexandra at the tackle store and have a chat, but leave your wallet in the car. :D :wink1:

Have a look at where they stock trout for the school holidays, like Rowville lakes, Pakeham just to name two. It is always worth a go with worms and powerbait.

Best of luck

Thanks Mazman, I'm assuming at the start of the season it will have been stocked for opening!
