Flathead
Hit the pier last night chasing snapper, plenty of wind and waves :cold: but the reds were not interested, instead caught two nice flathead one 49cm 850grams and the other 45cm 750grams. It wasn't what I was chasing but :dinner: tonight is going to taste great.

Re: Flathead
A good and tasty catch R7, well done. The odd flathead me and my mate catch at Brighton breakwall are around 45cm, a nice size. Hanging to get down there soon and see what is happening. Some friends went last week but only caught undersize pinkys.

Re: Flathead
Yeah, the similar thing happened to me last week. I was chasing snappers at a local pier and got a couple of flathead by chance, along with a few pinkies. But you know what?? When I gave a serious go targeting flathead the other day I got a big zero and even no pinkies :yucky:  .Raulfc7 wrote:Hit the pier last night chasing snapper, plenty of wind and waves :cold: but the reds were not interested, instead caught two nice flathead one 49cm 850grams and the other 45cm 750grams.
