Good Bait For Snapper/Pinkies??

Post by TheLoneTurtle » Wed Aug 30, 2017 9:14 pm

Hey guys,
So the coldest months of the year are slowly fading away, which brings us to have a much better chance to catch snapper, squid, gummys, flathead and KGW.
But i want the snapper.
I am just wondering what are some good bait that i could possibly catch (which i would rather prefer) or buy.
I catch a lot of garfish, grass whiting and good size wrasse (legal size), are they any good for snappers?
Also if you guys could let me in on a decent spot i would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Cheers

What do folks think about carp?? I've read that scaled carp, filleted and cut into strips has been pretty successful but I'm yet to try it. Have plenty of the stinky buggers around my home town.

PPB fish (slimies, salmon, gars, silver whiting ect) seem to be snappers preference.

Where as in WPB squid is unbeatable for snapper IMO.
