First time out in months

Post by dezza68 » Sun Sep 24, 2017 8:43 pm

Typical that the first time I get a chance for a fish in months, and its blowing a proper hooley. Decided to fish Frankston pier over tge the low tide change. Managed to pick up 7 salmon, largest just on size. All went back to grow bigger. Have to say some of my fellow fishers were not so generous with the undersized fish. Was great to wet a line. Got a bit hairy as the tide filled with waves breaking over the deck.

Awesome mate
If it was getting dark, would've possibly been good for snapper with a Westerly pushing in like that?

I've never seen anyone catch a snapper off that pier. I wanted to fish until dark but the waves were smacking into the deck.
