Port Fairy

Post by AE092 » Thu Mar 01, 2018 11:20 pm

Hi All,
I'll be heading to Port Fairy for work overnight next week and will take some light outfits with me, hoping to have a lazy bait session chasing bream, flathead and trevally. I read recently a report where a father and his sons were doing well down that way near the lighthouse but am struggling to find that report so was hoping if anyone could help with location(s) and or bait?

Alternatively, has anyone fished the area recently and if so, what have you found that works? Be it soft plastics, bait ect

Thanks in advance

Moyne River mouth in Port Fairy.. There is a park there and river runs alongside. Pump some live bass yabbies from nearby beach and you will be guaranteed bream and trevally from river mouth
