yep fish every weekend last week didnt get a hit on the softplastics and gars on the bait hard to find at the moment

Well what do you expect, our what knots are frozen to the bollards.
And NO (anti freeze ) green ginger wine.
Even watching the Tele Tubbies with my grand son looks a warmer option. :rofl:

Being LB...the wind blowing up on weekends has laid waste my plans during the last 4 weeks.
I did manage to squeeze in 4-5 hours at Mornington about 3 weeks ago, and nary got a single bite on the morning tide. Came home, brought the rods in out of the car put them under the bed and said 'see you boys in September.' It's been a terrible season this year :-( for me at least.

Winds looking to be under 10 knots till Sunday....might have a bash n see if the salmon r at Altona sometime this week.
