Just curious. Is there any point leaving carp out of a man made lake?
Apart from the fact that it's illegal, no not really
What is more disturbing is the fact that this lake has no inflow from any watercouse, it is filled by storm water off houses, so how does it have carp in it ???
I believe some people are transferring carp into these waters where 99% of fish wouldn't survive
Is it wrong ???, yes. Is it hurting the environment ???, I don't think so
This is all "IMO" & the law states NO you can't
Cheers Gra
Where my brother lives in Lara there is a man made lake with carp and red fin also im told. I think most of the lakes in the new estates end up with carp. Dont see the harm in carp being in them, but i don’t know
Natives would be better if stocked.
Don't know about Manor Lakes, but, if you saw the water in Cherry Lake, you would know a native couldn't live in it.
The "old" TNA was the same, similar to laundry water
Gra
Fair enough Tex wasn't sure but thought it wouldn't be terrible.

They actually talked about stocking Cherry Lake until they tested the water

These lakes are fed by Cherry creek, so they may have arrived naturally

One of the ways fish get into landlocked lakes is wildfowl and wading birds. Spawn sticks to thier leg and is transferred when they fly to a different water system.

I m not sure if it is the exact same lake it probably is,but if iwas,a mother deliberately drove her car into the lake, and all her kids died.FV delete or edit if you wish,im saddened by this as it is.

I'm pretty sure it is the same lake. There is no need for us to delete anything as it is a tragic event that happened. No need to hide it. It happened unfortunately :(

I live not to far from manors lakes and it was upsetting to drive past the lake when they had police tape up at the lake...

R.i.p little kids....

But life goes and have no issue driving past the lake or fishing it these days..
They have Easter event and Halloween ect events near the lake, had lots of good times there as well..
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish, catch a fish
