Re: KANANOOK CREEK
They're desilting the creek currently. The water is blacker than the ace of spades and the silt resembling sewage... Probably give it a wide berth for a while

Yeh, alot of ancient toxic crap being pulled up, so bad they had to make a small batch plant to filter it all! they were going to just dump it in a new spoil ground out in the bay till they realized what that would do to the area.
Thank god someone knew what was going on

Re: KANANOOK CREEK
My nephew was getting some big bream there a couple of years ago on crabs and don't worry about there being too much freshwater, bream will survive in virtuosly no saltwater at all, I have caught plenty of bream in the freshwater section of the Aire river

Re: KANANOOK CREEK
Me and the old man had a crack fishing the creek couple years ago using prawns for baitand this guy that lived in the caravan park on the creek said he fishes it all the time and mainly gets eels, my dad got lucky and a bream on his way to the bay slammed his bait with no need to hook him. there are definetly bream in the kananook creek id say mainly in the warmer months, on many occasions to and from the beach id stop to have a look down from the bridge and see many bream hanging around.
