I am at a stage with my project I need to be sorting out a sounder combo.
Its a 36ft flybridge.
I will be mainly cruising the gippsland lakes system and fishing the reefs off Lakes Enstrance now and again.
When the confidence gets up might do some bigger trips, chase the swordfish etc.
I want a 9/10 inch screen that I can mount in the dash and a through hull transducer..dont want to break the bank but want a decent unit.
So many options out there and the last sounder I bought was a little hummingbird in my tinny 7 years ago..I have no idea.
Any advice appreciated.
Here is a pick of the old girl.
Thanks

What's your budget?
Many options theses days but all comes down to your budget.

Re: Gps/Sounder combo advice.
i personally like the Lowrance units Myself. but for the 2k budget i think you will be pushing your luck for a seperate transducer and a 7 inch compatible screen.

Love the big screen and the sounder itself is good
But the best sounder as such ive seen is nude ups furumo.
In my opinion its better than mine.
