Sounder advice.

Post by CarlG » Wed Jul 26, 2017 9:36 pm

After any feedback or advice on the following.
Good mate of mine is looking at upgrading his sounder.
He's emailed Moose, who has suggested one of the following 2 units.
Simrad NSS evo 3, or a Raymarine Axiom.
Thoughts anyone.?..

Moose knows his stuff, simrad and lowrance are owned by parent company Navico. they are pretty good value.
im not sure about the raymarine.
are you going to use other stuff with it, like connect your outboard to the sounder, run aftermarket transducer and gps etc. or go 3d in future?
make sure you mention that to him, cause the options might change then.
