Well imagine a sounder with a 0.3m as the constant depth and a screen of nothing but blurry clutter (no bottom showing whatsoever)

Aka the sounder is picking up nothing.

Maybe could be your transducer has moved it's angle or could have a air bubble on the transducer?

The transducer angle is still the same, a touch below 0 degree. Angled down maybe 10 degrees? Could be bubbles with the swell, but I find it unlikely.

Install seems pretty standard, just off the allocated bracketing the transom.

we need to see the height, thats what determines wether or not it will read at speed yada yada, hence why i asked for pics
9 out of 10 times the problem is transducer installation/height issues

so without seeing what your install is like we might all be suggesting things that might be useless if your install is up ***** creek.

then again the install might be perfect, so then we look at other options.

It's not sounding bottom at rest/anchor/drift offshore though, not just when it's traveling.

Yet when i'm inside it'll sound bottom at basically full speed (55-60km/h) no problems at depths of like 10-15m.

Not sure what the difference is besides the extra 5-10m of depth?

Auto of course

And it's set up/installed exactly the same as the 'lowrance hook 7 setup' American dude. Same settings and all.
