They're set out of the box to the base maps. You physically have to select the card.
Should've bought an echomap, no need for a card and stupid settings then :tongue:

Fish and chips is not what the problem was. Its the map selection.
Lowrance default is to use their maps which doesnt have anything in there apart from very basic stuff. You have to change the settings to make it read from the navionics card which is a lot more detailed.
Fish and chips is basically just extra contour lines. Its now also called something else in the newer model units
