Underwater Fish Camera

Post by sturgeon » Sun Feb 25, 2018 6:32 am

Anyone use any underwater cameras to look at the bottom while in the boat? I was thinking one of those action cameras. I know there's a fish camera called gofish. But want to know what have been working for you guys. Or perhaps a fish camera sounds like a good idea but only that.

I had a mate use a go pro on my boat and turned out great when we just dunked it in the water to see the fish swiming up.

Look up nude up narlin reports from bermagui.
He got some marlin swimming in the water
And i think he went diving with one in a bait school of fish

Can you see the images live from the boat?

From where I am fishing, the depths usually from 3-5 m.

What about them wireless security cameras? Maybe waterproof that somehow and drop it down under and it should give you HD live images. Cheaper too and often you get 4 to 6 cameras in the kit. Just my idea though, it would be so good to see underneath your boat when fish is in feeding frenzy. Goodluck
