Post by Boza » Wed May 20, 2015 6:04 pm

Hey guys I'm a novice boaty I was wondering on what lakes and rivers can I camp with my boat just wanna make overnight camp on the bank's thinking of going down the murray cause at leat there you can pull up to a bank and make camp.

Is there anywhere else yo can do that I really like camping at the jerusalem creek arm of eildon but can I pull up to a bank there and make camp for overnight or is that illegal cause parts of it are national park.

Yes mate

I camp in my boat all the time.

Eldion is a perfect example of a great place to do it...you can camp all over the lake and the fishing is first class atm

I just have a swag in my boat and pull over but a little tent is fine

Its just a balancing act in respect to fuel/weight in boat/room ect

A few trips and yr a expert...if you search eldion you will see a few trips ive done.

The murray is another good place to do it also.

Cheers bm

Sorry to bring up such an old thread..

If anyone does go camping for a few days at Lake Eildon for example, where do you typically leave your car & trailer? Do you just leave it parked at the boat ramp?
