I was wondering when they would clamp down, this time of year the rat kings are targeted and move about early mornings, trolling up and down the pier or throwing poppers are the done thing, pity .... it was the closest place to get a king in safe waters... no more buddy !

What a waste of police resources.

They could easily mount a 20mm vulcan on the pier and get the fly boys to drive it from there brew room,couple of burst's across the bow would deter most fisho's.

Seems like a good opportunity to give the navy cadets a bit of practice at stopping the boats.

Just on exclusion zone do you (unless regs have changed ) that the buoys marking the exclusion zone are located at a distance for when a ship is in dock ,not that ever occurs. You have to be 300meters away if no ship is in dock another way to create a " marine park " also this area is considered to be federal govt as it is the defense dept owned. The last time I fished the area the buoys were about 1.2 Kim according to gps
