Going down the marine carpet way....
Cut it all ready..
Used 1lt of glue just for the fuel tank hatch covers.
Ahh well stop past bunnings for a 4lt to finsh it off..
Says put on both sides and wait till tacky...
Wonder how it will go if i slap it on one side and lay it down straight away

Do you get much movement between studs?
Did think about that but would need quite a few make it work

No its pretty good you can buy rubber backed marine carpet which is better. The studs are about 500mm apart.

Ive already bought the carpet but second guessing if i should glue it...
If i glue it and dont like it...its gunna be a pita to get out again
If i use press studs i will have screw holes in the floor

yeah, I have that blue stuff, think I used the turf glue. Looks good and easy to clean, I usually just vacuum it a couple of days after I wash the boat......If I wash the boat.
My wife is a bit anal when we fish and if she is not pulling a fish in, she is cleaning something.
We have had the carpet down for about 18 mths.. All good.
