Hi guys,
I’ve narrowed my boat search down to one of these two years to budget/towing/space limitations.
My question is which boat will be the better offshore fishing boat?
I expect the 520 may ride slightly better, but the 580rf will have higher gunnels and more space inside.
Any more specific opinions?
Thanks all

I think the 580RF will perform considerably better for offshore work.
By far more stable and safer.

Re: Sea Devil 520 vs Signature 580rf
Devil is a true 5.2m boat, the 550RF (despite the number change to 580 its a 550....) is a true 5.5m boat. It's .11m wider than the Devil to go along with added length, is better finished than the Devil which has a more agricultural feel to it, 70l more fuel capacity, wider dealer network compared to just Northern Beaches Marine for the Devil. The positives for the Devil in this battle is the possibility of customisation and it SHOULD be slightly softer head on.
If the comparison was with a 543 the Devil wins, in this case, 580 is the better boat, unless you want full customisation that you can get with small scale hand lay builds like the Devils
