The Best Boat You Ever Had.
Talking with an old mate today about what was the best boat we ever had.
I don't have a boat these days but looking back the boat that brings back the most memory's was an old Kingston 580.
By today's standards it wasn't very fashionable being a diesel powered displacement hull but it did the job beautifully. It was a real fuel miser too.
It had a Yanmar 28hp diesel motor, a very roomy (lockable) cabin with good headroom, small galley and comfortable seating. There was heaps of uncluttered room on the deck and although it was no speedster it rode the seas with no jarring or banging and fished well at rest.
Old boats are a bit like old girlfriends, some forgettable, others sexy as hell but cost a fortune to maintain and some, like the Kingston were real keepers.
What is/was your favorite boat?

This funny rock-shaped one hahaha
One day though i might upgrade to a boat, until then i just get by swearing at boat users sitting 15m off the rocks :icon_lolz:

Easy pick, my current Extreme 570, due to the epic 2 fishing seasons I've had in it so far!

Re: The Best Boat You Ever Had.
Mine was my old Quintrex Fishmaster cuddy cabin. A workhorse of a fishing boat.
I still see a few around every now and them, and ive seen the same hull with a different setup (runabout etc).
