When does the Boat Show end? I wanna check it out but havent had time

Cheers,
Ham
I could have bought one as well but as I explained in an earlier post I considered it surplus to my requirements as I will use the position lock on the MK as my anchor.

The boat show ends tomorrow.

Neil

Naturally I spent more than I meant to but I just made it inside my budget.

Purchase conditional on water test in the next couple of weeks

well done mate, another kiwi built boat, they sure as hell know what they are doing when it comes to boats.
do you fish PPB or WPB ??
the electric will be very hand for PPB when fishing for squid, whiting, pinkies and even snapper...
but i doubt it will hold in WPB, so might have to throw the anchor in there.
got the best of both worlds with the auto stow and deploy electric, as well as a cabin for protection.
most boats with an electric never have the cabin as they cannot reach into the bow area and deploy the electric.
the MK certainly has come up with a game changer.

Looks like a pretty tough boat...I did the same thing last year, it's like being a kid at Christmas the day you pick it up. The best option I put on it was a boarding ladder...I thought I wouldn't need an anchor winch until I started fishing Westernport.

I mainly intend to fish WP with some PPB, Eildon, Blue Rock as well.

I'm hoping that with 80lb of thrust I'll be able to hold position with the MK. If I find I can't I'll retrofit an anchor winch but I'd prefer to save the weight and the $2k if possible.

Neil

Ive never used an electric so couldnt comment on holding power in WPB. I cant see why it wouldnt work in the shallows when whiting fishing, but the tide really does roar once u get a bit deeper. Cant wait to read your first report and fish to christen it! Its going to be a long 3 months I bet haha
