The boat is in a container on the water; hopefully landing next week.

I have been sent a couple of photos of it in the Mclay factory.

Yeah I decided to be extravagant and get the Carbon 9. My eyes need every bit of help I can give them.

I visited Warragul Marine today to see how things were going which was when they told me that it was about to hit the wharf.

When I did my marine licence course last month I was warned that the risk of trailer theft at quiet ramps midweek was high so I've been looking at security measures I can take.

I'm considering the Klamp It http://klampit.com/product/model-b-klam ... -security/ they suggested I get a Hitch Helmet https://www.whitworths.com.au/main_item ... olutePage=

Does anyone have experience with them or better suggestions?

I also asked them to look at fitting a Travel Buddy and changed the radio from a GME GX700 to a GME GX600 so that is has DSC.

Following the battery thread here I asked what battery switch they were fitting and upgraded to the BEP dual charge battery & switch with DVSR.

I haven't decided what battery charger to get yet, considering the Minn Kota portable http://minnkota.com.au/products/accesso ... -portable/

They told me there may be a delay on the Minn Kota, apparently the local distributor underestimated how many would be sold at the boat show (60+ of the Ulterra)

Neil

one thing i can suggest is make sure you get proper boat and trailer insurance, so in case the **** hits the fan your covered..
if the thieves want to steal your trailer, they can. or worst case strip it off the rollers and arms etc..
