It rained last night

Post by Wolly Bugger » Wed Oct 25, 2017 1:19 pm

Put the boat on the water yesterday and when I got home it started raining, so a quick dash inside, thinking everything would be Ok. Only to find this morning the automatic inflatable life jacket had inflated. :o_0: So it works, but not when I didn't want it too.

I had been told that auto inflate pdf's could be triggered by rain; looks like I'll have to use a manual one in wet weather. Fortunately I have both types.

I wonder how heavy the rain has to be. Is a light drizzle safe?
Cheers,
Neil

The jacket was stored in a soft esky bag and it was half full of water this morning.

That's good to hear. I'd prefer to use the auto inflate version, particularly when out by myself.
