Does anyone carry spare props?
Or unlikelyness of needing to happen is worse then winning the lotto

But my thinking would be if.your awah on holiday and something happenes while the boats on thw trailer you can fix it.Hydroman wrote:Everyone will have their own opinions but for me...the 2nd one is more than enough. On a trailer boat, it is very unlikely you need anything more heavy duty than this. Ie....you wont be pulling the engine down in PPB. I carry probably somewhere between pic 1 and pic 2.skouta wrote:Are any of these a good start???
Like a connection coming loose in the control arm, or trim tabs play up, impeller failure, smapped prop nut or line around the prop and have to take prop off, wheel bearings go on trailer, brale cable snaps,
If your holidaying and if the difference between going fishing the next day or taking fishing the day off so a mechanic can fix it, over not having 1 extra tool.
I would get frustrated lol

Haha. Had nearly forgotten about this one until this thread jogged my memory.Hydroman wrote:that is gold!! good stuffducky wrote: Although I do remember one time a drunken chick damaging a cavity slider on a house boat I was on. Had to take the entire thing apart which involved unscrewing screws that had been stopped up and painted. It’s amazing how effective a plaster made from eggwhite mixed with protein powder can be at patching screw holes on a cream door frame Hahahaha
Got the bond back and that’s all that matters
