Re: When I
well the latest update.
Got a new bilge pump fitted with a larger discharge capacity
After much tooing and froing the connection between motor and lowrance didn't happen and prices quoted from others to install were abit high. A trip to CH Smith to get the required parts. Havent figured out how too feed the wiring through the rubbergommet yet
also need to connect the radio to the gps.

Re: When I
I was actually thinking of adding another bilge pump to increase capacity if I copped a big wave. The one in the boat was suppose to be automatic but that part wasnt working. So now i have more peace of mindsmile0784 wrote:Why did you upgrade the bilge pump?

Re: When I
Once those cowl pieces come off it should be easier to get the wiring through the grommet.
What radio have you got. You can connect radio through nmea2k as well and control from sounder. But not 100% sure if elite units support them.

Re: When I
Today bought two more rod holders for the boat and now all I need to do is drill some holes and fit these new rod holders. Eventually I will be fitting some outriggers as well.

Re: When I
Ok.
I picked up outrigger set witch had carbon fiber poles, rigging kit bases for $1200 and then i bought tag lines kit separate for $80 but if you have stuff to set up game lures all you need are the weights and rubber which are about $20 other wise its crimps snaps and 300lb leader line. Easy to make.
But if you had steel rocket launchers you can find poles that go in in rocket launchers.
Saves drilling holes in your boat and having bases.mounted all the time when not using them.
