Brooker Boats

Post by KeenAds » Sun May 20, 2018 8:48 am

What are peoples thoughts on these boats?

Now that my kids are older and getting into fishing I am thinking about buying an aluminum boat. Looking at a Stacer or Quintrex about 4.5m. While looking I have come across some Brooker boats that are vertually brand new with low hours for the same price as a 10 year old Stacer or Quintrex with 150+ hours. So was just wondering if they are any good.

Cheers

For some reason out of all the tinnies Quintrex are the most sought after
Quintrex, Stacers are made by Telwater in Brisbane and so are the Savage tinnies

Whether it concerns you or not, I believe they went into administration late last year...

Yeah I knew that, its more of are they worth looking at or do I steer clear. Like I said there is a big difference in price so was just wondering if they are chaeply built quality or if you are paying for the name quintrex or Stacerang getting the same sort of thing.

Thanks

Also Quintrex now offer 5 year warranty on boat/trailer if trailer is serviced/adjusted every year by an authorised quintrex dealer

We have a 525 Discovery Centre Console 2000 year hull. Haven't had any issues with it at all. Is well set up, goes well and has taken to our initial lack of experience well.
