i drank a cup of concrete and hit the local piers down the peninsula.
we got 56 gars between 2 of us..
ofcourse no pics cause i cbf resizing them.
silverfish the choice of bait

Hasn't been much better here in Tassie and in Sth Aust too, fishos there have had enough of it as well.. just so windy lately, bloody frustrating that's for sure.. :down: ..

Stiff north wester and 2m swells make winter fishing almost impossible if you want to do anything even remotely interesting.

You are quite right Boonanza,l was fishing at the Aire river on Saturday and the fishing was much better near the mouth as it was slightly open and the water quality was better.
Where as further upstream the water was dirty and l couldn't get a bite.
Also the good thing about fishing rivers is you have a chance of sheltering from the wind
