Each trip going to Portland or whereber will cost a fair bit ,car fuel ,boat fuel ect how many trips per year will you be able to actually go tuna hunting ....
Rich man's sport is some ways.

Tinny might be tougher ride, but less horse to power it...
Bigger boat = divide costs by more people

Or B=C/P if you want the actual mathematic fishing formula
Yep. Do what makes you happy, that's all that matters.

Not really the case with a plate boat which would be the only alloy option considered.

The 650F has had 15k spent on it in the last 12 months which should keep it going perfectly for another few years.
What you been doing toit now
Just required maintenance. New brakes, springs plus mounting hard ware, axles, new tyres and new carpet for the bunks on the trailer.

New sounder, batteries x 3, new set of clears, new deck wash pump, new trim tabs ect.

It adds up quick.
Didnt you get clears like 2 years ago?

5 years ago, they don't last much longer than that.

600F is a small 6m boat. They handle and ride well but they are touch small for the size rating.

Also fitted with a 2 stroke (nothing wrong with a 2 stroke IMO) although the OP was pretty clear on wanting a 4 stroke.

I prefer the 575 which has a self draining deck.

When doing a trip away mates always chip in by how many people coming.
4 ppl =1/4 share for running costs. Fuel car and boat oil, bait, accommodation, bait and shared food. About $150 a day ish.
Practicaly the same when fishing locally but cost are bit lower to cover fuel bait and oil about $40 a day if 2 or 4 people fishing.

I'd never go back to a 2 stroke after owning my current Suzuki

I love everything about it
