You could do it yourself but i wouldn't recommend it if you aren't mechanically inclined..
You'll need a tube of grease, bearings and seals, split pins, gloves, rags and all the necessary tools plus a couple hours of your time. Is $250 worth that much to you?

yeah id say they are in good nick. last time i did bearing was a whole different story though, bearing fell out in bits, the trailer was not looked after by previous ownerMattblack wrote:If the sleeves are ok (which most of the time they are), just replace the bearings and leave the old sleeves in there...should save a heap of time

bearing were falling apart and had a seized inner bearing frame and distroted axle pins
i got everything new and installed myself
then rebuilt another trailer after that again, so im capable of doing it, just rather be fishing tbh hahaha

Well you wont be fishing if the bearings aren't done!
For me, It actually takes more time finding someone to do that stuff, booking it in, taking it there and picking it up than just doing it myself. And when i do it myself at least i know everything is done properly.

Gday found a local guy who is actually a onsite mobile trailer guy who is in koo wee rup(near Pakenham) not sure if that's to far from your place but give him a call as he will turn up to ur place for u. Name is Dean Mowat mobile- 0428 334 855. he mite be cheaper and quicker.
