Just to give Victorians a little perspective on "The Melbourne Boat Show"

The Adelaide Boat Show is on from Friday 28th June to Sunday 30th of June , , , , which is about one day too many. Two days is enough as the show doesn't have that much in it.

Some Vic guys might feel dejected after attending your show. Well here in Adelaide there is not a lot in the show. Not a lot of Dealers and not a lot of much at all, so we are more than dejected IF we attend.

To give you an idea , , , , here is our What's On , , , , Stage Schedule

Cookie must be all casted out after day 1 personally I’d prefer casting with cookie to two blokes droning on how it’s less than a cup of coffee to subscribe to their website.

Anyway I enjoyed my day out will go again not sure if it will be next year or in 10years time

I ended up getting down there today after i knocked off work early. I was slightly disapointed that they didnt have the Barcrusher 490c to compare to the 535.. but lets face it, that purchase is still years off lol.

If anyone is after a soft tackle box and a bargain the tackle store down the back on the right has a nice Abu Garcia box for $40. The exact same one at the tackle shop at the entrance is $70. I picked up a new sea anchor for $20 to help with those squid drifts.
Hey mate, did you wonder over n compare surtees 495+540...?
Yeah ive had a look at pretty much all the plate boats. At the moment its still a pipe dream so i havent looked too hard into it and we are buying a caravan before i even get to look at a new boat. I have wanted a Barcrusher since the day they first came out lol.

When it comes to time to buy i will certainly look at all the options. My final purchase will come down to who gives me the best deal with the most features that i am looking for. Everything is a compromise, except money!

No hate for the blokes the business on the other hand and the mass release of GPS areas is frustrating.

I was there too on Saturday.
Spend a while chatting to the guys at polycraft.
As usual the boats were all exciting to inspect. Was pretty impressed with the surtees, Mclay, extreme and stabicrafts.. as well as the evolution boats. And the new rig from costa at hooked up magazine is sweet..
Not to mention the mother of all outboards from Yamaha !!!
Also the new model bar crusher crossover looks good. Plenty of space in the front for casting lures.
Caught the last glimpse of Paul Carter's talk about squid few tidbits learnt as well. Shook hands with the man from wicked tuna himself..

Then staggered to crown and enjoyed a buffet dinner. And headed up to the clubs after that and Got home at 2am.
