nice setup gav. did you do the alloy welding yourself?
No so i got the new electric from fishcampski n knew a guy in Corowa so ran up picked it up dropped it n the boat off n ran back to Melb r an back up following weekend

I wouldn’t try welding on my boat I’ve never welded anything before not starting on that!
no worries mate.
I want to put a plate for an electric on the front of my quintrex bowrider. if I get someone to do it I want to be confident they will do a nice job.
I don’t know many blokes in the trade but the guy who done mine does hire a lot of them! And his workmanship is proper! But he is in Corowa..
yeah ill keep a look out for someone a bit closer to the sth east of melb. enjoy your boat, ill keep an eye out for u on the water.
You can try Craig in Ferntree Gully. On the side road near maccas on Burwood Hwy. I’ve used him for a tinnie repair. I think his dad actually did the TIG that time but Craig repaired a broken skeg for me and it was like new. Good bloke, good job, no rip off and he knows his stuff. If you go to see him in the arvo, take a couple of beers to share, he tells a good story.
