negative things about what?
smart waves
hmmm what would you say is the 4800 capabilities?
either way rare in vic :(
couldnt tell you my personal opinion as ive never been in one, but from what ive heard its a great boat. it would suit my fishing style very well..
BIG angry fish filmed with a 4800 in a few of their episodes so maybe try and see if you can find some of that footage.
or ask the people who you heard about the negatives from, they might know more about it than i do.
it was one guy probably just got unlucky i reckon.
i know the boat, the grey one.
that boat had a hull twist from being stored on an incorrectly made and sized trailer.
the guy should have taken up the offer of a different hull when the dealer offered it to him.
ive seen this happen on polycrafts too because of the wrong trailer being used.

as said earlier, try out a few different boats and see which one you prefer

They look like nice rigs, you could definitely do offshore work with those but will probably have to carry extra fuel.

Almost any boat has offshore capabilities when in the right hands.

What fishing do you see yourself doing when you get a boat?

So mainly bait fishing with maybe a bit of drifting? Every now and again going offshore for kings and tuna?

Get yourself cuddy cabin or something that's enclosed. You'll be much more comfortable. A centre or side console boat, in my opinion, are more for the person who is more into "sports fishing"
