Won't be as severe as the BOM say, bit of rain but so what, I have seen floods as bad as it will probably ever get and it is not a big deal, thunder and lightning concern me more than rain when I am fishing.

Better that they tend towards over estimating it anyway. At least people will be prepared for the very worst scenario rather than sitting on their roofs waiting for a swift water rescue while the BoM spokesperson on the radio apologies for not forecasting the extra 2m of floodwaters.

Im going out fri night and apparently ill have more rain in my boat than in the water
These weather guys are a joke. Most of their theories end up laughable.
They should be held to account

Maybe there right. Have you seen the weather coming from the west.
Do you want to risk your life on a maybe?
Rain doesnt make waves. A storm with gusts to 20 knots on a south wind when you are protected from phillip island is laughable.
Risk life? Tone it down mate. People respect what you say here. No need for over the top drama
. Read the weather report. Itl be brilliant where im fishing. Damp perhaps but very comfortable
Just don't to want to see you on the news with a comment " a fisherman does another stupid thing for fish,
Risking the lives of police and resuce crews for a few fish"

couple days of drizzle, no big deal. Typical over hyped media driven climate dribble. There is a fortune to be made in scaring people, just ask Al Gore
