5 years ago (or more) I spoke to 3 Indian students, in Little Lonsdale street
They were here to learn how to run a business
They were assured of a diploma, but learnt nothing
I did a detailed report & forwarded it to the relevant department
Can only hope that things are now much better, but, there will always be shisters

There is a lot of that around. Migration to this country is easiest for young adults through Education.
A lot of money gets spent in trying to pursue the wrong course of action.
There are hoards of immigration agents, falsified Universities and general con-men about.

In a lot of cases, students who complete post graduate end up being unemployed as they dont meet the eligibility criteria to even apply to 80% of professional job openings as they are not a permanent resident/citizen. Then Uber/Pizza Delivery sucks them into a vicious cycle of survival.
There is nothing wrong with either, but one doesnt need a 100,000$ Engineering degree to deliver Pizza as a main source of income.

I was a touch lucky and got hired by an American Firm straight out of University and then eventually sorted out my paper work, I am proud to be an Australian Permanent Resident and eventually a citizen.

Australia is fabulous, I had a choice when I left India , to either go to Germany/Canada or here.
Im happy I picked right

:water:
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.
