So after loosing my job again for doing what im told (got used.as a scape goat) and asking centerlink for newstart to help find another job.
They asked how much my mortage is. I say $2100 a month and then they say you will get less then half that.

I asked what am i ment to live off and they say they cant do anything else and some is better then none.

So i asked if i sell my investment property and pay if off my place i live in to lower.my mortage.

She said how much capital gains will i make.
I said probably $120k
And she said i wouldnt be eligible for any payments for 12 months cos full capital gains is $120k as income and further more loose child care rebate amd family tax benifit for 12 months.


So either way im.screwed twice from sunday.

First thing I would be doing is speaking to your bank and working something out with them. I think selling your investment property should be a last resort if you can't find another job.

thats exactly what the liberal party wants.they want to keep the poor bloke down .part time and cauaual workforce is terrible thing to have to deal with if you have kids and tryin to pay off a morage.

There is a union campaign at the moment to create more permit employment otherwise our kids are in great trouble finding full time employment.

God only knows how we voted them in but alot off people paying for it now

That's not good at all sorry to hear that. Don't bother with centerlink mate unless you really have to. Not sure of your work history and experience but you will be better off ringing a couple of agencies and seeing if they have any casual work going till something comes up. Good luck.

Part-time / casual work is a crap place to be if you are thinking long-term. Eg. Personal/house loans, a family, a dependable lifestyle. Wages are good, but no benefits or job security. Far too many jobs going offshore too, to incompetent scum. Dipshits employed from India, Malaysia, Phillippines, etc, by companies such as OBP, who are happy to rake in the profits for the pathetic services provided globally. It needs to be outlawed imo.
It seems our kids need to be taught to be smart or strong, as it's the only realistic way they'll be able to survive in yrs to come...
