Voting...does fishing matter?

Post by April Fool » Fri Nov 02, 2018 6:50 am

Hi Peoples
Lots of promises being bandied around now by political parties chasing votes. I was wondering where exactly does the importance of fishing fit into you choosing who to vote for. As for me, there are more important things to consider. So...is there anyone here who's priority is choosing the party that offers the best fishing deals? That is all...no need to compare any of the parties, list any priorities etc...no need for a sh!t fight here.
cheers

Good topic, Being in my late sixties I still have a long memory of the current party, they wasted almost $500mil of tax payers money on cancelled road improvements paying out the contractors on those project, money down the drain, The Liberals are a unknown quantity lots of promises and lots of money being thrown around same with Labor, our money, So to answer your question is no to the major parties, I think we need independents or parties like the Fishers and Shooters, people like ourselves. Major parties are out of touch with the majority of voters, only there for their own self importance and greed. Anyway that's my thoughts on the subject.

It’s a small factor.

At the end of the day I spend more time working and living in a house I pay rent and bills for on a planet we're in the process of ******* up than I do fishing so those are bigger issues for me when it comes time to vote.

Not really. The rec fishing policies of either major party are not going to sway my vote.
