It was fun while it lasted, but like every train crash it had to come to an endsmile0784 wrote:Sad day when we loose a member

Not when they continually attempt to twist, bend and manipulate the rules to their advantage to suit their own agenda.smile0784 wrote:Sad day when we loose a member
I have emailed the member and asked if he agrees to abide by the site rules. I am happy for him to remain a member.
Just awaiting a response...

Think it's easier to work for a living than try and flog off random products with a logo from a team of handpicked members no selection criteria no try outs so long as your from Western Melb mates with Phil and can provide a boat your in.
Wished Born2fish all the best when he started his "business" but I personally find the promotional posts a bit tedious.

Re: Not having permission to read something.
I dare say Phil does work for a living and is doing what many of us would like to do...have a small business on the side that involves your hobby. On saying that, I can not understand why people will pay money to obtain products that are going to advertise the person's business who is taking your money!rb85 wrote:Think it's easier to work for a living than try and flog off random products with a logo......

I wasn't suggesting he doesn't work just whether this sort of hobby business is profitable when you consider the time and money invested in setting it up.April Fool wrote:I dare say Phil does work for a living and is doing what many of us would like to do...have a small business on the side that involves your hobby. Re: Not having permission to read something.
I know you were just making a comparison. I envy fishos who start a small business out of it...I would no doubt fail. The successful ones I have a lot of admiration for are the ones that make and sell their own lures.rb85 wrote:......
