Was hard to watch India lose the way they did last night.
Aussies aren’t off to a good start either, but smiths there. And so is hope.

Watched the Aussies get slaughted by the Poms
I would not have Smith in a one day side.
Sure he got a few runs (slowly), but, he did nothing to protect the new batsman.
All for himself imo

Stoinis was spudding it up the entire tournament, I'm not sure what they see in him long term. Carey looks like a decent prospect though, could be pushing Paine out of the test side before too long.

If Bruce Wayne would play cricket, he'd be the batman.

Anyone watched the final

Anyone watched the final
Tried to! I had 3 hours sleep late in the arvo thinking that would get me through comfortably but after about 40 overs of the NZ innings, I lost interest and went to bed. Checked the scores occasionally online and then realised it was going to be close. Then around 4am ish the live score said 'England needs 1 run from 0 balls' so I thought they had lost. Then realised it was a draw so had to hop up and turn the TV on to see what would happen....and it happened! One over each! With hindsight, I would have got up around 2am and watched all the action.

Did not seem very fair to me to compare boundary counts to award the finals.

Anyone else think the same?

I stayed up and watched the final - got to bed around 5am, then up at 5:30 for work. The boundary count system sucks, but they knew the rules when they started and the people who made that rule probably never thought it would be used. Maybe they should have played another super over, then another, then another.......
