Billy came from the bush.
It was no understatement to say that Billy was an avid fisherman. Most days after work and all weekends Billy could be found fishing in the local river and billabongs of his little bush township. He was well known to all the other local fishos.
A while ago something strange happened. Billy was nowhere to be seen.
Days and then weeks passed by without anyone seeing him at his local fishing spots. The other regular fisho's were at first puzzled by this and grew more and more concerned for his safety. The river and billabongs were searched and dragged with a growing sense of unease and fear that something terrible had happened to him.
Then, one day, a group of local fisho's, saw him back at one of his favourite fishing holes, fishing away as if nothing had happened.
They rushed up to him, asking where had he been, and much to their surprise and amazement Billy told them he had gone and got married.
They asked him was the girl rich. No said Billy.
They asked him was the girl good looking. No said Billy.
They asked him was the girl could cook. No said Billy.
They asked him was the girl pregnant. No said Billy.
So they asked him what the hell was the attraction that made Billy marry her.
She's got worms said Billy.
