Fishing location with lots of activities for kids?

Post by smile0784 » Thu Aug 01, 2019 2:27 pm

Just wondering if there is any places that are really good fishing spots and also have plenty of things for the wife and young kids to do?

What's everyone's ideas?
Let's have a brain storm?

Mostly be those stocked family lakes, like karkarook, Albert Park or casey fields.
Water, fish, playground, toilet, bbq, etc.

Karkarook and albert park come immediately to mind.
Wombat Bend park on the yarra in templestowe - but water access isnt the most kid friendly and its a fast flowing section where it is, so you'll need fast freshwater fishing experience to minimise the frustration of fishing that type of water
Mordy pier for salt.
