So what's your point?
I believe the point is to move general chat that doesn't further enrich or at the bare minimum relate to the topic at hand to pm's or refrain from posting it.

This thread was about gear preferences and sponsorship and part way through it there is pages of back and forth between yourself and LX about upcoming gear purchases.

I dont have any allegiances since i use all brands i have more common theme with my stuff and that is it is me proof (can take a dunking in salt water without issue),

Alvey: well that brand by itself is knowen well for their ability to survive anything and everything
Jarvis walker: cheap rods and tackle that arnt silly expensive for me to buy
shimano: brought as a xmas gift from my brother and still going strong
i think thats it for the main one

Honrable mentions:
The local tackle shop: he gets a mention since i get my bait through him and its always great to get a fishing report from someone who actualy goes out and does fish and not a big name store.
Canon: only because i like their dslr and lens system even if its annoying that there isnt alot of len's its getting the mention since its easy for me to learn the system and shoot on fully manual.

My loyalty lies with Uncle Jarvis and therefore K Mart
You don't need to spend big to get doughnuts
I find A1 & Nathalia worms are best
Can't go past DaveK yabbies
And prefer Woolworths brand corn kernels
Most of my lures are older than a lot of people reading this, they still do the job
My rod holders were $4 at Aussie disposals
I drink a foreign owner beer, Carlton Draft (sponsored by Uncle Dan)
I buy meat at a butcher's, not a supermarket
I buy fruit and veg at a green grocer
That'll do
Cheers Gra
If you need tiles, go see Uncle Frank

My reply back on page nine of this original topic that has gone way of the topic would probably not have even been noticed..
If I could have removed it I would have. so I've sent a message to a Moderator to remove it because it was a waste of time putting it on..

it's time to stay with the original topic that's been placed on the forum..

cheers
Adrian

I know smile and lx might go on a bit, but, geez
I don't read all their stuff, I can flick over what I'm not interested in
What they say in broad terms is information for other fishermen
I say leave them alone and post your fishing adventures for us all to read
Cheers Gra

Well here's a few lures sent to me from "Pointer Lure Project" a kayak fisherman who has been making hard body lures for a couple of years now and is trying to get a small lure business together & sell a few lures. He sent me a couple last trout season to test out on the trout, one of which worked exceptionally well on the trout, it was the "Sergeant Major" lure that caught quite a few trout in a spin session. That lure actually caught my 400th trout for the season.

This morning I received a few more new models to try out for him during this trout season & I'm sure they'll do well on the trout. As we know (trout fisho's) trout can be fussy from one day to the next so what doesn't work on them one day can work the following day.. Anyway I'm pretty confident these nice little 40mm & 57mm lures will catch a few trout.. I'm not sponsored by Pointer Lure Project as I have my own sponsor, just wanted to help promote someone trying to get a small business together.. He sell the lure for around $8-50 each plus postage which varies from the size of the order. Usually around $3-00 for four lures I think it is.. Anyway I thought I'd let you know if you're after a few decent & well priced lures he's well worth checking out..

Here's the website for anyone who is interested in getting hold of a few well priced lures..
