Yes, my last statement was a bit "dramatic" to make a point, but the article was cleverly crafted to seem unbiased.

But the points are still the same.

The lady was given the benefit of the doubt in the article as a "concerned member of the public" to rebut when Lincoln's companion stated "activist".

And the "recites the law" may have been poor choice of words by myself, the article confirms (via a Parks Victoria Spokesman) that it is legal to fish at the lake but doesn't say that Lincoln was fishing legally. That is left up to us to make the connection BUT the "concerned member of the public" was given for the lady's defence, we didn't have to make that connection, it was given

She stated that Lincoln was "trying to kill fish' , , , , no statement in the article to defend Lincoln on that accusation other that "Parks Victoria encourages catch & release"



Yes, they are all semantics , , , , which is a great tool Journalists use to seem unbiased.

The article is at the least "subliminally" bias to the lady's cause , , , , by design
